Goofy decides to take his son, Max, on a fishing trip, in an attempt to bond with him. Max therefore has to break his first date with Roxanne, a schoolmate he has a crush on. On the trip, Goofy and Max have various misadventures, which include having to hide in their car when Goofy accidentally annoys Bigfoot.
