All 13 episodes from the ninth season of the US hospital drama set in the emergency department of a busy Chicago medical centre. The show follows Dr Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) and his dedicated team of doctors and nurses as they attempt to tackle the unique and challenging cases which occur day-to-day in their highly-pressured and unpredictable department. In this season, Dr. Charles (Oliver Platt) is unsure of the newest member of the emergency department staff, Dr. Ripley (Luke Mitchell), Dr. Archer (Steven Weber) undergoes a kidney transplant and Dr. Ahmed (Sophia Ali) tries to get a patient's insurance company to pay out for lifesaving surgery.
