A heavy rainstorm and severe flooding cause the sheriff and residents of a local town to evacuate and abandon it. To prevent the bandits from getting their hands on the money, the van's driver, Tom (Christian Slater), runs off with it, but escape is not going to be easy with the water rising to life-threatening levels.
